“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
I wish I could say “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”, but that would ignore the realities of today’s world. But I will say that it is senseless for the believer in Christ to worry about the things of today or tomorrow. Worry doesn’t get you anything but gray hairs and stress-related physical ailments. Seek God and His kingdom first. That is the command of Jesus Christ! That is our priority as Christians. Know and have faith that God will provide for what you need. That assumes you know you don’t need a yacht or mansion or the extravagances that define an attachment to the world. If you do you’re on your own. Stay focused on what you can do for the Lord and His kingdom today. That, as well as our everyday obligations, will keep us busy enough.
Please, please, please don’t get caught up on world events. Those are temporal matters.
God will take care of you.
